Dubstep IS Music.

To those who say Dubstep is not music, your wrong, and let me tell you why. The dictionary defines music as "an art of sound in time that expresses ideas and emotions in significant forms through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, and color". So by definition, Dubstep is music. If you don't believe that Dubstep fits into this definition because it does not express ideas or emotion, then you haven't been paying attention to the song's your listening too.
I'm gonna use Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites by Skrillex as an example because its one of the most popular Dubstep song's that I'm aware of and it's probably one of the most misunders

It is hard to forget
try as I might
But bet on it
for I've not begun to fight.
Every time I think of it
my chest begins to tighten
and I really must admit
I wish this load to lighten.
But I have dug myself this hole
and I will climb myself out
this battle has taken its tole
but I'm not one to pout.
It may take days or weeks
to swallow my pride
but I shall leave streaks
from my victory stride.
These poems may be cheesy
or maybe even "sappy"
but there is nothing easy
about being unhappy.
If these words bother you
maybe just a bit
then I may laugh too
for I don't give a shit.

but I have fallen today,
I have arisen and its in the past,

Those who doubt or pester me,
their failures they shall meet,
patience and will is the key,
for I know not the word defeat.
In pain I may moan,
but I shall not falter,
for I face it not alone,
